The Last Day to Wear White?

It's a social rule that Labor Day is the last day to wear White AND Floppy hats (sadly for both), since Labor Day basically marks the end of summer. I took full advantage of my last day of all white for a while, and as I transition into my Fall/Winter style, I'm gonna pull out the black, boyfriend jackets, and leather!

Life in Lyon - France Travel Diary Entry #2

When we went to Lyon during part of our homestay, and my friend and I took the time to explore the city after doing some shopping!! Lyon had a huge Galeries Lafayette with all of the European stores that I wanted (and did) hit before I left the continent! We found a super stylish fountain that had no water and we had to take pictures by it!! This was the second to last time I wore these boots before they sadly broke, so I'm labelling this as a tribute to my boots...RIP my dears.

I saw this dress at Topshop last year, saw the price and immediately snatched it up! It was on same during one of the mega sales that Nordstrom has (one of which is going on right now), and that gave me the incentive to buy it! I was planning on wearing this to my cousin's wedding, because being the pre-planner I am, I planned a year early, but I was asked to help in the wedding! This dress has been in my closet and I've been dying to take it down and pop it on! The cutout is so lovely and it shows just enough skin, and the v neck isn't too deep that everything is hanging out! The fabric is super light, so I was able to stay cool in the Georgia heat while taking these pictures!!

Easter Brights

Last weekend, many people around the globe celebrated Easter! A day for being thankful and being with your family, which is what I did. After a TOO long church service, I went down and visited my family, and spent the day with adorable cousins and family friends. I went way back in my closet and pulled out an old dress, a bright yellow one at that. I attempted (in the words of my cousin) a "Sasha Fierce" face as the sun went down.
