I found some more pictures out of the 1,400+ photos I took while in France, so I thought I'd share, along with posting the outfit I wore that day.
Amazing huh? After a day of rain, we picked an amazing day to visit the memorials at Omaha & Utah beaches. The pictures above are from Utah, but I have more of Omaha. It was a lovely warm day and the water was a great sight to see. The flowers and tributes people had placed on the memorials after the WWII memorial ceremony were all still in place, since we arrived 2 days after the ceremony took place. It was nice to have something in front of me to make me think about what may have happened if these missions had not gone successfully. I probably wouldn't be writing this, and the world as I know it, would be completely different. My father, uncles, and grandfather were all in the military, not during this time, but even so, it makes me sad to think about all the people who lost loved ones to this war. It's humbling, and to every single person serving out there for their country, man, woman, American, British, African, whoever you are, I salute you, and thank you for your service.
Now that I'm done bringing you all to tears, here is my outfit from above:
Dress - Target (S/O, similar), Cardigan - H&M (S/O, similar), Sandals (not seen) - Sam Edelman, Bag - Deena & Ozzy @ Urban Outfitters (S/O, similar), Sunnies - Ray Ban
