Textures, Prints, and Sneakers? Oh my.

Hello loves near and far!! I'm sure if you follow anything in the fashion community, you've heard about Haute Couture Fashion week in Paris, and even if you don't, you've heard about one of these shows. This week I've been recovering from extreme haute couture overload, so I thought I'd make a compilation of my favourites from this week! These aren't all the shows, and these were compiled before the end of the week, so definitely check my twitter and you'll see more that I love!! So are you ready?
*Warning - all of these are extremely beautiful gowns and pieces and you may become infatuated with one or all of these looks and designers.*

Elie Saab. What can I say about Elie Saab. The designs they pull out every year blow me away, and every year, I don't think they can get better, but they do!! Their gowns are always either simple and elegant or embellished and spectacular, and this year was no different. The first picture is a beauty in a cream color and is a great example of pure, simple, and elegant. The second picture is so funky and I love the embellishments and mesh on the top. I'm absolutely in love with the gown in their third picture, the square cutout in the bust and the ombré dye at the hem is beautiful. The hem on the fourth gown is stunning. I didn't realize what it was until I took a closer look, but when I did, I fell in love with it, again
Verdict: Elie Saab, amazing as usual and they have lived up to the years past, and are keeping up with trends, while retaining their roots and base.

Unless you live under a rock or just have NO social media, you've seen this Chanel show, or heard about it. This show inspired my title for this and this show was the reason I wrote this! The cinched waists, the pure colors, the textured fabric, and the co-ords, can you hear me swooning yet? Karl Langerfeld incorporated sneakers into the show, which cost about €3000 a piece and 30 hours to make a piece, and I love the couture sportswear! Karl closed out the show with his godson and his "bride", the lovely Cara Delevingne, and yes this show was ah mazing.

Giambattista is a designer who I've heard in passing, and after this week, I will definitely be keeping up with them. I love how they incorporated the florals into their pieces. Most have a similar floral pattern on them, but each piece is something distinctly different from the last one. Giambattista, you've impressed!! The Style Selections: Textures, Prints, and Sneakers? Stéphane Rolland, another name I've heard but never dug into, but its made a strong impression on me this season. They've used bright colors or just normal black and white for the pieces I saw and WOW! Each model looked intense in Stéphane Rolland's pieces and each one is a beauty. I don't know about you but this collectionis perfection, simple as that.

Dior, imagine me saying it in the sexy Dior commercial voice. Dior. Most of the pieces I've seen from the shows have been gowns or dresses like Haute Couture normally is, so I love how they put pants, jackets, kimonos, jumpsuits, etc. on their models. Making Haute Couture look more normal is a nice sight to see, and instead of it looking unattainably beautiful, Haute Couture is looking like something the everyday gal (with an extra $95,000 in her pocket) would wear.

First thing I thought when I saw Jean-Paul Gaultier's collectiln was oooo butterflies!!! I love it, and you can probably tell since I wrote this most about designs from this week that I love. Butterflies are such a beauty and J-PG incorporated the world's most beautiful insect (in my opinion) into each of their pieces. I swoon each time I look any of the pieces and the more I see of the collection, the more I love it!
